This is one of the rarest and most expensive limited editions of recent years.

An Introduction from the newly formed Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division: Land Rover intended to build just 120 Holland & Holland models for the world. At £180,000 in the UK, it was then the most expensive Range Rover you could buy.
30 were destined for the USA from April 2016 at an initial cost of $244,500. These were the 5.0 S/C petrol version only. Some US cars were optioned with a glass division between driver and rear.
Initially, 40 were to be produced in 2015, 40 in 2016, and then a final 40 in 2017. This seems to be all a year later with the dates.
Based on the long-wheelbase L405 Range Rover, specifically on the Autobiography Black, this was to feature a vast collection of unique Holland & Holland finished features from a unique colour produced by Holland & Holland to the specially finished leather to unique metalwork inside. A key feature is a beautifully made wooden gun case in the rear that motors out on a powered floor for improved access, as shown in the Ultimate Edition of 2010. This was a special-order feature. Other such things are a special rear console and interior door release handle engraved with the acanthus scroll to match the style of Holland & Holland guns.

The colour is basically described as “Holland and Holland Green”
The leather is finished in Expresso with Tan and extended tan for other areas, such as the dashboard. Holland & Holland embossed imprint is on the seats, together with H&H stitching throughout. This colourway was unique at the time. Unique H&H engraving is everywhere, including the glovebox button, gear selector, armrest adjuster and so on…
A Special French Walnut cut from one piece adorns the interior, this same wood is used on the guns and is totally exclusive to the Holland & Holland Range Rover.
The side vents, rear tailgate and door sills all had the Holland & Holland branding in the form of a badge. Other touches of the H&H branding are placed on the wooden areas.
It was available with either the 4.4-litre twin-turbo SDV8 diesel or the 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 petrol. As yet, the diesel was the more popular choice in the UK. while in the States, Petrol was the main seller. All the cars were in LWB form.

The first promotional press car made was in 2014, this did all promo tours of garages and shows, and ended up being used as a business car in the UK for the MD of the Beretta group who owned the Holland & Holland brand at the time. This had almost 90k by the time it came up for sale in Sept 2021, but still in immaculate condition.

A unique handbook and handbook pack was printed for the Holland & Holland edition with the H&H logo on the leather cover.

So, how many were made? It’s thought that the total number was never reached even with the car being sold worldwide. However, at the moment we’ll stick with 120 worldwide cars for now… but the UK quota I believe is in single figures. This is certainly one of the rarest since the launch of this edition, I’ve only managed to find five UK cars! So help is needed here… Do you know of any? Get in touch.
Unfortunately, this edition has been made available as an ‘add-on’ for the later model… this page is about the original car and not the 2019 onwards edition. You can see more about the add-on edition here; https://hollandandholland.com/range-rover
It’s thought that the two companies’ associations are now over with no more collaborations expected again… never say, never.

MUCH MORE TO FOLLOW!
